ITINERARY
DAY 1: BUENOS AIRES
Arrival in Buenos Aires. Overnight on board.
DAY 2: BUENOS AIRES
Arrival in Buenos Aires, reception and transfer to the hotel. Lodging. Buenos Aires is the capital of the Argentine Republic and undoubtedly one of the most interesting metropolises in Latin America. It is a dynamic and cosmopolitan city with a great cultural and architectural heritage. The city is famous for Tango and soccer, for its cafes, bookstores and theaters, but it also has a great gastronomic offer and a variety of activities for all tastes.
DAY 3: BUENOS AIRES | CITY TOUR
Breakfast. During this tour we will discover the most important attractions of the Argentine capital. The city is known as the "Paris of South America" and looking at the architecture of some of the neighborhoods it will be easy to see why it earned this nickname. We will start at Plaza de Mayo, where the Casa Rosada, the Cathedral and the Cabildo, the old city hall during the Viceroyalty, are located. Then we will go through San Telmo - one of the oldest neighborhoods in Buenos Aires - until we reach La Boca, famous for the picturesque colorful houses on Caminito Street. Finally we will head north to visit Recoleta, one of the most elegant neighborhoods in the city with wide avenues, ample parks and imposing residences. There we will visit the monumental cemetery where the remains of Eva Perón and other characters of Argentine history are buried.
DAY 4: BUENOS AIRES
Breakfast. Free day to enjoy the city or, if necessary, take an optional excursion to Tigre and the Delta: Tigre is a town located about 30 km north of the city of Buenos Aires, in the Delta of the Paraná River. It is a privileged place to enjoy nature and spend a day outdoors. On this tour we will go through the elegant neighborhoods of Olivos (where the Presidential Quinta is located), Martinez and San Isidro where we will make a short stop to visit its neo-gothic style Cathedral and its main square surrounded by big trees and imposing houses, some of them dating from the 19th century. After about an hour, we will arrive in Tigre where we will board a typical boat and sail for 60 minutes through some of the many rivers, canals and streams that make up the Delta. The vegetation is dense and abundant. Many porteños - inhabitants of Buenos Aires - have their weekend homes here. The return to the city will be by the Panamericana highway.
DAY 5: BUENOS AIRES
Breakfast. Free day to enjoy the city or take an optional excursion such as Gaucho Party at Estancia Santa Susana - Regular service We will visit a typical ranch of the Argentine wet pampas, one of the most fertile natural regions in the world, famous for its production of meat and cereals. We will depart from Buenos Aires and after approximately an hour and a half of transfer we will arrive at our destination. The reception will be with empanadas, followed by a traditional Argentine asado. There will be a folkloric music show and gaucho skills. We will also have free time to visit the ranch, ride horses and take a carriage ride. Return to the city in the afternoon.
DAY 6: BUENOS AIRES - IGUAZU
Breakfast. At the indicated time, transfer to the airport to take the flight to Iguazú. Arrival and reception by our representative to transfer you to your hotel. Lodging.
DAY 7: IGUAZÚ : EXCURSION TO THE ARGENTINE WATERFALLS
The Iguazu Falls are a set of more than 250 waterfalls located on the river of the same name, on the border of Argentina and Brazil. The Argentine sector is located within the Iguazú National Park and surprises us with its pure nature and exuberant vegetation. Since 1984 it has been part of the Natural Patrimony of Humanity and is also part of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. We start our visit by taking the Ecological Train that in 20 minutes leaves us at the Garganta del Diablo Station. From there, a trail starts and ends at the famous and impressive Garganta del Diablo (Devil's Throat). This set of waterfalls of about 80 meters high arranged in the shape of a horseshoe is simply impressive and unforgettable. We continue touring the Upper and Lower circuits, both are circular trails and connected to each other. The first passes over the waterfalls, with balconies overlooking the falls Dos Hermanas, Ramirez, Boseti and San Martin among others, and the second runs along the same falls, but from below, where lagoons and pools of water are formed. Then we return to the hotel.
DAY 8: IGUAZÚ : EXCURSION TO BRAZILIAN WATERFALLS - BARILOCHE
The Iguazu Falls are located on the river of the same name and have more than 250 falls spread between Argentina and Brazil. The Brazilian area is located within the Iguaçu National Park. Although most of the falls are inside Argentine territory, this sector offers beautiful panoramic views of the Iguazu River Canyon. Once at the Visitor's Center, we will board the park's internal buses that will take us to the beginning of the main trail over the river canyon from where we will observe the dense subtropical rainforest and different panoramic views. We will culminate the hike with amazing views of the famous Garganta del Diablo (Devil's Throat). This is a set of waterfalls of about 80 meters high that fall into a narrow gorge, being the largest in the world. We finish at the Floriano waterfall, from where we return to take the buses by stairs or elevator. At the indicated time, transfer to the airport to take the flight to Bariloche. Arrival and reception by our representative to transfer you to your hotel. Lodging.
DAY 9: BARILOCHE : SMALL CIRCUIT EXCURSION WITH CAMPANARIO HILL
We start the tour in the city of Bariloche and head to the foot of Cerro Campanario. The ascent to the summit at 1050m, offers one of the most beautiful views of the region. Then we will continue to the Llao Llao peninsula, where we will find the San Eduardo Chapel and to the south, the Llao Llao Llao Resort, a hotel of great reputation in Argentina. Later we will arrive at a Panoramic Point from where we will have a privileged view of the peninsula with the mountains and lakes that surround it. At the end of the trip, we will border the El Trébol Lagoon and join the Bustillo Avenue to return to the city.
DAY 10: BARILOCHE
Breakfast. Free day to enjoy the city or take an optional excursion such as Puerto Blest and Cascada de los Cántaros (full day). The departure for this navigation is from Puerto Pañuelo, where we will arrive to board a boat and sail along the Blest Arm of Lake Nahuel Huapi. We will make a symbolic stop in front of the Centinela Islet, where the remains of Perito Moreno rest, who was responsible for the creation of the National Parks in Argentina. After an hour of navigation, we will arrive at Puerto Blest, the starting point for the hikes inside the National Park. We will find ourselves in the Valdivian Rainforest, one of the places where it rains the most in Argentina, and we will take the Entablonado trail that will lead us to Los Cantaros Waterfall. There we will find 3 viewpoints from where you can appreciate the native species of this forest: coigües and alerces. From Puerto Blest you can also visit (optional) the Laguna Frias, with green and crystalline waters.
DAY 11: BARILOCHE - BUENOS AIRES
Breakfast. Free day until transfer to the airport to take the flight back to the city of origin.
