This Policy Affiliates (hereinafter, "Policy") sets forth the terms and conditions of the Affiliate Program of Globetrotter Excursions (hereinafter, the "Company"). This program is designed to enable travel agents, bloggers, influencers, and enthusiasts of tourism to promote our services to travel in Guatemala and Central america, in exchange of commissions. When you participate in our Affiliate Program, you agree to comply with all the terms and conditions set forth in this Policy.
This Policy is governed by the laws of Guatemala, including but not limited to, the Code of Commerce of Guatemala and the applicable regulations on advertising and digital marketing. In addition, adhere to the best international practices in the field of affiliate programs and the marketing of travel.
To be eligible, applicants must be at least 18 years old and possess an online platform or a network of potential customers. We especially appreciate the affiliates who have experience in the tourism sector or a strong commitment to promoting responsible destinations in Guatemala and Central america and the world.
The registration is performed via the form available on our website. We request detailed information on their platform, audience, and advocacy strategies to make sure that there is a good alignment between our goals and yours.
The Company reserves the right to approve or reject any application without need for justification. We carefully evaluate each application to ensure that our members share our values of sustainable tourism and promotion ethics.
The commissions vary from 10% to 15%, depending on the volume of sales and the type of product. We offer rates of commission competitive and staggered to reward our members more productive. The affiliated high performance, you may qualify for rates of commission on higher and additional benefits.
Payments are processed on a monthly basis, provided that the balance accumulated over $100 USD. This ensures an efficient management of payments both for the Company and for the affiliates.
Payments are to be made by bank transfer or PayPal, depending on the preference of the member. We strive to offer payment options that are convenient and accessible to our affiliates in different countries.
The Company reserves the right to withhold payment in the event of suspected fraud, or violation of this Policy. We have implemented strict measures to prevent and detect fraudulent activity, thus protecting the integrity of our program.
Members will receive access to the promotional material approved by the Company, including banners, high-quality images, product descriptions and exclusive content. We regularly update these materials to keep them fresh and attractive.
All promotion must be accurate and comply with the applicable laws of advertising and consumer protection. We expect our members to maintain high ethical standards in its promotional practices.
Affiliates may not use the Company name in advertising paid without prior authorization. This allows us to maintain a control over the representation of our brand and ensure consistency in our marketing messages.
The sales are tracked via cookies with a duration of 30 days. We use advanced technology to monitor to ensure that all sales are attributed correctly.
Any sales made within this period after a customer clicks on the link in the affiliate will be credited to your account. We offer a control panel in real time where affiliates can monitor your referrals and commissions.
Affiliates must maintain the confidentiality of the information provided by the Company. This includes information about commissions, marketing strategies, and any other non-public information.
It is strictly forbidden to engage in deceptive practices or spam to promote the services of the Company. We value integrity and transparency in all promotional activities.
Affiliates must maintain up-to-date information in your account, and payment methods to ensure a processing fluid of the commissions.
Both parties can terminate the relationship of the member with a written notice of 30 days. We respect the right of our affiliates to terminate their participation in the program at any time.
The Company reserves the right to immediately terminate the relationship in the event of breach of this Policy. This includes, but is not limited to, fraudulent activities, promotion, unethical or a breach of the guidelines of marketing.
The Company reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time to adapt to changes in the market, regulations, or business strategies. The changes will take effect 30 days after its notification to members, giving you enough time to adjust to the new conditions.
The Company shall not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from the participation in the Affiliate Program. We recommend to our members carefully consider the risks and benefits before taking part in the program.
This Policy is governed by the laws of Guatemala. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Guatemala. We encourage the amicable resolution of any dispute and provide open communication channels to address the concerns of our members.
We provide educational resources regular to help our affiliates to maximize their winnings and improve their marketing skills. Our support team is available to assist members at all stages of their participation in the program.
