DAY 1: MADRID
Arrive at the airport 3 hours before the departure of the transatlantic flight to Madrid. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 2: MADRID
Arrival in Madrid. Reception and transfer to your hotel by our correspondent. Accommodation
DAY 3: MADRID
Breakfast. In the morning panoramic city tour with local guide, visiting Plaza de España, Fuente de Cibeles, Plaza de Oriente, Puerta de Alcalá, Ciudad Universitaria, etc. In the afternoon we suggest an optional visit to the imperial city of Toledo. National monument of art and history of Spain. Enjoy Toledo's past on a walk through cobblestone alleys and explore the medieval architecture and fortified walls of the World Heritage City. Lodging.
DAY 4: MADRID - SAN SEBASTIÁN - LOURDES
Breakfast. Departure to San Sebastian, one of the most beautiful cities in Spain. Time to stroll in the old part of the city. Continuation to the French Pyrenees region. Arrival in Lourdes. Free time to attend the impressive procession of the Torches (THERE ARE DAYS WHICH ARE NOT CELEBRATED) and visit the Holy Grotto where, according to tradition, the Virgin appeared to Bernadette (IF THE TIME OF ARRIVAL ALLOWS IT). DAY 5: LOURDES - BLOIS - ORLÉANS
Breakfast. Departure through beautiful landscapes of the French countryside to Blois, historic city located on the banks of the Loire and one of the most representative sites of the region, with its important Royal Castle. Continuation to Orleans. Free time.
DAY 6: ORLÉANS - PARIS
Breakfast. Departure to the French capital. Arrival and panoramic tour of the City of Light, walking along the Avenue des Champs Elysees, Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, Ile de la Cité, brief time to visit the Miraculous Medal. Afternoon free to explore the city or take the optional excursion of Illuminations and Seine Cruise or a special evening enjoying a cabaret show at the Lido. Lodging
DAY 7: PARIS
Breakfast. Free day for optional excursions to Versailles, visit the Louvre Museum and the Notre Dame Cathedral or visit the bohemian district of Montmartre, a meeting place for painters, writers and artists. Lodging
DAY 8: PARIS - DIJON - ZURICH
Breakfast. Departure to Dijon city known worldwide for its famous mustard, you can stroll through its medieval historic center where you will find one of the oldest museums in France, the Museum of Fine Arts. We continue our journey to Zurich. Arrival and free time to explore this beautiful Swiss city, optionally you can take a guided tour where we will visit the Bahnhofstrasse the Lindenhof hill, the old quarter of sailors and fishermen Schippe; and the oldest bridge in Zurich Rathaus - Brucke where the City Hall is located on the shore of the lake etc.. DAY 9: ZURICH - LUCERNE - VADUZ (LIECHTENSTEIN) - INNSBRUCK
Breakfast. Departure to Lucerne, located on the shores of Lake Lucerne and has preserved its medieval charm in its buildings, squares and narrow streets. Optionally you can make an excursion to Mount Titlis: You will go up the cable car to the top of the snow-capped mountains of the Swiss Alps. Appreciating the beautiful scenery and enjoy the snow, unique experience and the various attractions that are there. At the indicated time departure along the Alps to Vaduz, capital of the principality of Liechtenstein, which has a lively old town. After a short stop, departure to the capital of Tyrol: Innsbruck. DAY 10: INNSBRUCK - PADOVA - VENICE
Breakfast, free time to explore the historic center, at the agreed time departure towards the Brenner Alpine Pass, where there is one of the highest viaducts in Europe, to reach Padua, a city known for the Saint, time to visit the cathedral. Continuation to Venice, arrival and overnight. Optionally we suggest you to complete your time with a gondola ride.
DAY 11: VENICE - FERRARA - FLORENCE
Breakfast. Morning dedicated to a visit of Venice, city of 118 islands. Transfer by vaporetto to St. Mark's Square. Walking tour of St. Mark's Square, Doge's Palace, Bridge of Sighs etc. Short free time to wander on your own through the labyrinthine streets and canals, and admire the contrasts between the beautiful palaces located on the Grand Canal and the small churches. Departure to Ferrara, brief stop and continuation of the journey to Florence, capital of Tuscany and main city of Italian art. Arrival and accommodation
DAY 12: FLORENCE - ASSISI - ROME
Breakfast. Panoramic tour, including the Cathedral, the Baptistery, Ponte Vecchio and the Piazzas della Signoria and Santa Crocce. Transfer to Piazza Michelangelo, located on the top of one of the hills surrounding the city, where you will have the opportunity to take a nice photo of the group overlooking a landscape that dominates the whole of Florence. Continuation to Assisi, an interesting walled city. Visit of its Basilicas, with the tomb of St. Francis. Continue to Rome, the Eternal City. Upon arrival there is the possibility of an optional visit of Baroque Rome, to know the heart of the city, with interesting places such as Piazza Navona, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, etc.. Return to the hotel and overnight.
DAY 13: ROME
Breakfast. Departure for a panoramic tour of the imperial city, visiting the Colosseum, Arch of Constantine, Circus Maximus, Baths of Caracalla, Pyramid, ending at St. Peter's Square in Vatican City, where we will attend the **PAPAL ASSEMBLY** (provided that the Pope is in Rome). Rest of the day at leisure for an optional excursion to the Vatican Museums and Michelangelo's masterpiece, the Sistine Chapel. Accommodation
DAY 14: ROME
Breakfast. Day at your disposal with the possibility of an optional full day excursion to southern Italy, with the wonderful Bay of Naples and the picturesque island of Capri. Lodging.
DAY 15: ROME - PISA - NICE
Breakfast. Departure to Pisa. Stop at Piazza dei Miracoli to admire the beautiful monumental complex formed by the Cathedral, Baptistery and the famous Leaning Tower. Continuation to Nice, capital of the French Riviera. It is suggested to enjoy the atmosphere of this cosmopolitan city or participate in an optional excursion to Monaco, Monte Carlo and its famous casino. Lodging.
DAY 16: NICE - NIMES - BARCELONA
Breakfast. Brief panoramic tour of the city to continue to the city of Nimes, free time for lunch and continuation to the Spanish border through Provence and its magnificent highways. Arrival in Barcelona. We suggest enjoying the many nightlife possibilities that the city offers. Overnight stay.
DAY 17: BARCELONA - ZARAGOZA - MADRID
Breakfast. In the morning panoramic city tour with local guide, including its most typical and picturesque places. Departure to Zaragoza. Free time to visit the Basilica of the Virgen del Pilar, patron saint of the Hispanic world, and visit the old city center. In the afternoon, continuation to Madrid. Lodging.
DAY 18: MADRID
Breakfast. At the scheduled time transfer to Madrid airport to board our flight to the city of origin. End of our services.
