Reservations and Payments

How can I make a reservation?
 You can make your reservation through our web site or by calling our customer care center. We recommend you to use our Rater online Travel to get a custom proposal.

 

What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), bank wire transfers and PayPal.

 

What is your deposit policy?
Generally, we require a deposit of 30% of the total cost of the trip to confirm your booking. The remaining balance must be paid 30 days before the start date of the trip.

Policies Cancellation and Changes

What is your cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policy varies according to the type of tour and the anticipation with the cancellation. In general, the cancellations made more than 30 days in advance receive a full refund, less administrative expenses. For cancellations between 15-30 days prior to the trip, we apply a 50% penalty. Cancellations with less than 15 days in advance are non-refundable.

Can I modify my booking?
Yes, you can make changes to your reservation are subject to availability. Changes requested less than 15 days in advance may incur additional charges.

Travel and Destinations

What destinations do you offer?
We specialize in Guatemala and Central america, including destinations such as Antigua Guatemala, Lake Atitlan, Tikal, and other sites in neighbouring countries such as Belize, Honduras and El Salvador. We also have packages international tour in America, Europe and Asia.

 

Do you offer private tours?
Yes, we offer both tours group as private. Private tours can be fully customized according to your preferences.

 

What is the size of the groups on tours?
Our tours group generally have a maximum of 16 participants to ensure a more personalized experience.

Travel requirements

Do I need a visa to visit Guatemala?
Visa requirements vary depending on your nationality. Many countries do not require a visa for touristic stays short in Guatemala. We recommend you check with the embassy or consulate of guatemala in your country.

 

What vaccines are recommended?
Although no vaccinations are required to enter Guatemala, we recommend vaccination against hepatitis A and B, and typhoid fever. Check with your doctor or a center travel medicine for personalized recommendations.

Accommodation and Transport

What type of accommodation do you offer?
We offer a wide range of options, from luxury hotels and boutique to eco-lodges and accommodation in local communities, depending on the destination and your preferences.

 

How is the transport during the tours?
We use modern vehicles with air conditioning for ground transportation. For some destinations, are also included internal flights or boat transportation.

Health and safety

Is it safe to travel to Guatemala?
Guatemala is generally safe for tourists, especially in the main tourist areas. However, as in any destination, we recommend taking basic precautions and follow the advice of your guide.

 

Do you offer travel insurance?
Although we did not include travel insurance on our packages, we highly recommend that you purchase one. We are able to suggest options for travel insurance to be reliable.
