DAY 1: MADRID
Arrive at the airport 3 hours before the departure of the transatlantic flight to Madrid. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 2: MADRID
Arrival in Madrid. Reception and transfer to your hotel by our correspondent. Lodging.
DAY 3: MADRID
Breakfast. In the morning panoramic tour of the city with local guide, visiting Plaza de España, Cibeles Fountain, Plaza de Oriente, Puerta de Alcalá, University City, etc. In the afternoon free time for personal activities. Lodging.
DAY 4: MADRID - SAN SEBASTIAN - BORDEAUX
Breakfast. Drive to the north of Spain, passing through the regions of Castilla Leon and the Basque Country to reach San Sebastian, one of the most beautiful cities in Spain. Time to stroll through its old town. Continuation to the French border, and continuation of the trip through the wine region of France, until arriving in Bordeaux, capital of the Dukes of Aquitaine. DAY 5: BORDEAUX - BLOIS - PARIS
Breakfast and drive from the wine capital of France to the Loire Valley, the region that houses the most important castles in France. Stop in Blois, considered one of the most attractive towns in the Valley, thanks to its beautiful castle. Continuation to Paris. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 6: PARIS
Breakfast. In the morning, panoramic tour of the city, visiting the Champs Elysees, Arc de Triomphe, the Opera House, Eiffel Tower, Latin Quarter, Luxembourg Gardens, Les Invalides, etc. Short time to visit the Miraculous Medal. DAY 7: PARIS
Breakfast. Free day to stroll around this illustrious city or climb the Eiffel Tower. There will be the possibility of hiring a visit to the famous Palace of Versailles and its beautiful gardens. Lodging.
DAY 8: PARIS - LUXEMBOURG - RHINE VALLEY - FRANKFURT
Breakfast. Departure through the Champagne region to reach Luxembourg, important seat of the European Union. The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, one of the smallest states in Europe, whose capital is located on a rock, surrounded by large bastions and deep valleys. Free time and departure to Germany. Through Koblenz we will continue our journey through the Rhine Valley, where we will appreciate beautiful landscapes with imposing Germanic castles, as well as the symbolic Loreley Rock. Arrival in Frankfurt, the financial capital of the country. Lodging.
DAY 9: FRANKFURT - HEIDELBERG - SELVA NEGRA (FRIBURGO) - ZÚRICH
Breakfast. Departure to Heidelberg, cradle of thinkers and one of the oldest universities in Europe, a city on the banks of the Neckar River where we will have time to enjoy the atmosphere and its old town and university town. Travel to Freiburg, capital city of the Black Forest. Free time with the possibility of a guided tour. Continue through the region with its typical villages to reach the capital of Switzerland. Free time to visit the city center. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 10: ZURICH - LUCERNE - VADUZ (LIECHTENSTEIN) - INNSBRUCK
Breakfast. Departure to Lucerne, located on the shores of Lake Lucerne, which has preserved its medieval charm in its buildings, squares and narrow streets. Optionally you can make an excursion to Mount Titlis: you will ascend by cable car to the top of the snowy mountains of the Swiss Alps, appreciating the beautiful scenery and enjoying the snow, a unique experience and the various attractions found there. At the indicated time departure along the Alps to Vaduz, capital of the principality of Liechtenstein, which has a lively old town. After a brief stop, departure to the capital of Tyrol: Innsbruck. Free time to explore the historic center and the most important monuments, including the Golden Roof", Maria Theresiam Strasse, St. Anna's Column, etc.. DAY 11: INNSBRUCK - PADOVA - VENECIA
Breakfast. Departure towards the Brenner Alpine Pass, where one of the highest viaducts in Europe is located, until reaching Padova, city known for the Saint; time to visit its cathedral. Continuation to Venice, arrival and overnight. Optionally we suggest you to complete your time with a gondola ride.
DAY 12: VENICE - FERRARA - FLORENCE
Breakfast. Morning dedicated to the visit of Venice, city of 118 islands. Transfer by vaporetto to St. Mark's Square. Walking tour of St. Mark's Square, the Doge's Palace, the Bridge of Sighs, etc. Brief free time to wander on your own through the labyrinthine streets and canals, and admire the contrasts between the beautiful Palaces located on the Grand Canal and the small churches. Departure to Ferrara, brief stop and continuation of the journey to Florence, capital of Tuscany and main city of Italian art. Arrival and accommodation.
DAY 13: FLORENCE - ASSISI - ROME
Panoramic tour, including the Cathedral, the Baptistery, Ponte Vecchio and the Piazzas della Signoria and Santa Crocce. Transfer to Piazza Michelangelo, located on the top of one of the hills surrounding the city, where you will have the opportunity to take a nice photo of the group overlooking a landscape that dominates the whole of Florence. Continuation to Assisi, an interesting walled city. Visit of its Basilicas, with the tomb of St. Francis. The trip will continue to Rome, the Eternal City. Upon arrival there is the possibility of an optional visit of Baroque Rome, to know the heart of the city, with interesting places such as Piazza Navona, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, etc.. Return to the hotel and overnight.
DAY 14: ROME
Breakfast. Departure to the Vatican City to attend the Papal Audience (if the Pope is in Rome). Continue to the Imperial City for a panoramic tour of the Roman Forum, Colosseum, Arch of Constantine, Piazza Venezia and St. Peter's Square in the Vatican City-State. Rest of the day at leisure for an optional excursion to the famous Vatican Museums and Michelangelo's masterpiece, the Sistine Chapel. Lodging.
DAY 15: ROME
Breakfast. Day at your disposal with the possibility of an optional full day excursion to southern Italy, with the wonderful Bay of Naples and the picturesque island of Capri. Lodging.
DAY 16: ROME - PISA - NICE
Breakfast. Departure to Pisa. Stop at Piazza dei Miracoli to admire the beautiful monumental complex formed by the Cathedral, Baptistery and the famous Leaning Tower. Continuation to Nice, capital of the French Riviera. It is suggested to enjoy the atmosphere of this cosmopolitan city or participate in an optional excursion to Monaco, Monte Carlo and its famous casino. Lodging.
DAY 17: NICE - NIMES - BARCELONA
Breakfast. Brief panoramic tour of the city to continue to the city of Nimes; free time for lunch and continuation to the Spanish border through Provence and its magnificent highways. Arrival in Barcelona. We suggest enjoying the many nightlife possibilities that the city offers. Overnight stay.
DAY 18: BARCELONA - ZARAGOZA - MADRID
Breakfast. In the morning panoramic city tour with local guide, including its most typical and picturesque places. Departure to Zaragoza. Free time to visit the Basilica of the Virgen del Pilar, patron saint of the Hispanic world, and tour the old town. In the afternoon, continuation to Madrid. Overnight stay.
DAY 19: MADRID
Breakfast. At the scheduled time transfer to Madrid airport to board our flight to the city of origin. End of our services.
